ICC’s Hefty Prize Pool For The WTC Final
After the introduction of the World Test Championship to the cricket world, the red ball format has become much more interesting. Starting in June 2023 with the Ashes, the third cycle of the championship is moving towards the final clash as Australia and South Africa are set to lock horns on the big stage.
As the iconic Lord’s Cricket Ground is all set to host the final clash from June 11 to 15, the finalists are set to take on the challenges. Before the high-voltage showdown, the ICC has unveiled a massive prize pool of 5.76 million US dollars, more than double the amount from the last two editions.
As the hype is already there for the big show, the winners are set to witness a massive jump in the prize money. With a massive jump, the winners will take away a prize money of 3.6 million USD (30.78 Crore INR). The runners-up won’t go empty-handed either, earning a solid 2.16 million USD (18.46 Crore INR).
The other teams are also set to receive huge prize money. Being in the third position of the points table, India will get 1.44 million USD and while fourth-placed New Zealand will take home 1.2 million USD for their efforts.

Battleground Is Ready For WTC Final
As the red ball cricket is arriving, fans are already on the edge of their seats. Performing exceptionally well in the entire cycle, South Africa earned their maiden entry in the finals also became the first team to enter the WTC 23-25 final.
