While Mohammed Shami had a sub-par IPL 2025 season with Gujarat Titans and also a surprise snub from India's tour of England, the ace veteran couldn't be stopped from enjoying some quality time with his family.

Mohammed Shami was seen embracing family time in a heart-warming backyard cricket session. A video shared by Shami himself on his official Instagram handle saw the senior fast bowler bowling with his familiar smooth action in a backyard setting. 

Notably, he was also found cracking up some shots with the bat as his family members enjoyed with him over the game of cricket. The caption to the video was, "A day well spent on the field with family!" implying his belief in spending quality time with his family.

The experienced pacer has taken 229 wickets at an average of 27.71, with a strike rate of 50.2 and an economy rate of 3.30. 

Shami's best bowling figures in an innings are 6 for 56, while his best match figures stand at 9 for 118. Shami has also registered 12 four-wicket hauls and six five-wicket hauls in his red-ball career, further solidifying his reputation as an ace speedster for the country.
