Former Pakistan seamer Mohammad Amir, who was recently seen featuring for Northern Superchargers in The Hundred 2025, will skip the rest of the season due to prior commitments and will travel to the Caribbean to feature in CPL.
Northern Superchargers took to their social media platform to inform about Amir's departure and also named a replacement for the left-arm seamer. Notably, New Zealand's Jacob Duffy will fly to the UK to join Superchargers and play the rest of the season.
"Jacob Duffy will permanently replace Mohammad Amir for the remainder of The Hundred,” Superchargers stated.
Amir's Stats In The Hundred
The 33-year-old didn't had a massive impact on the team in the first two games as Amir only picked up a solitary wicket and scored 11 runs with the bat. Despite Amir's poor performance with the ball, the Superchargers are doing well in the ongoing Hundred season, as they are placed 4th on the table with two wins in three matches.
Regarding Amir's new venture, he will feature for the Trinidad and Tobago Riders in the CPL 2025, which commences on August 15. Amir will be seen in action on August 17 against the St Kitts and Nevis Patriots.
Talking about Duffy, he has already played a match and took three wickets against Southern Brave.
