Mumbai Indians have announced their retained and released players ahead of the 2025 Women’s Premier League (WPL) season. Keeping it simple, MI decided to stick with most of their core squad as they held onto 14 players, including captain Harmanpreet Kaur, and let go of just four.
After winning the inaugural WPL title in 2023, Mumbai Indians Women had a shorter run this year as they bowed out to Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the Eliminator. With the auction for the third WPL season coming up, Mumbai has gone for stability.
