LSG notched up their second win of the season with a convincing performance against SRH at their home ground, Ekana Stadium. The pitch was a difficult one for the batters and it was the game where spinners dominated the proceedings.

Krunal Pandya though stood tall among the lot and delivered an all-round performance. He took three wickets with the ball giving away just 18 runs in his four overs and then followed it up with a crucial knock of 34 off 23 balls. LSG won the game easily in the end by five wickets and senior Pandya who was adjudged as the 'Player of the Match' delivered some strong words at the post-match presentation.

Krunal Pandya said that he had a good day in the office and mentioned that at this level, one has to earn everything. He added that it was special because whether it is bowling dot balls or taking wickets, one has to earn it. He also mentioned that with four right-handers in SRH batting line-up, he knew he would bowl four overs. He also stated that he is on good headspace this season and has a clarity of what he need to do.

This is what Krunal Pandya said:

"Yeah!! Very good day in the office. At this level, you have to earn everything. Whether its a dot ball or wicket, you need to earn everything. So it was special. Yeah, having four right-handers, I knew that I was going to bowl four overs. I am in a good headspace and have a good clarity of what I need to do,"

He also mentioned that he is a process-driven person and does not think much about result. Tells that he took the break for four-five months from cricket and worked on his skills. He then added that as he was playing only white-ball cricket he was going wider and wider with his line and informed that he wanted to get tall on his action and get his arm ball right.

"I am someone who is very process driven and don't think too much about the result. Yeah, again last four-five months, I took a break. I wanted to work on my skills, especially bowling as well. I was just playing white ball format. I was going way wider and wider again. I wanted to get a little tall on my action and get my arm ball well."

Krunal Pandya is an important player for LSG with his all-round skills and if they continue to get pitches like this game at home, he would have to play a big role in team's success. LSG now will play their next game at M.Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru against RCB on Monday, 10th of April.
