Ahead of the inaugural SA20 League scheduled next month, the Mumbai Indians Cape Town have named former New Zealand all-rounder Jacob Oram as their bowling coach.
Oram played for the Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League (IPL) in 2013.
MI Cape Town already have a star-studded support staff, with Simon Katich as head coach, former South African legend Hashim Amla as the batting coach, and Robin Peterson as the team manager.
James Pamment, also a fielding coach for MI in the IPL, will continue in his same role here.
Recently, Oram worked as an assistant coach with the Northern Warriors in the T10 League 2022.
The 44-year-old has worked with the New Zealand women's side as an assistant coach, apart from coaching the New Zealand' A' side in 2014.
The Manawatu-born has played for the Black Caps in 33 Tests, 160 ODIs, and 36 T20Is between 2001 and 2012.
Apart from MI, the all-rounder has played for franchises like Rajasthan Royals and Chennai Super Kings in the IPL.
