In a massive boost for Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), all-rounder Nitish Reddy has cleared a fitness test and is likely to be fit to play IPL 2025. Reddy was nursing a side strain injury but has now fully recovered.

The IPL 2025 season is set to begin from March 22 and Sunrisers Hyderabad will be itching to accomplish the unfinished business. They lost in the final against KKR last year in what turned out to be a one-sided contest.

However, for the upcoming season, the franchise has received a massive boost as a key all-rounder is set to return from injury.

Nitish Reddy To Join SRH Soon After Clearing Fitness Test

With just a week left for the much-anticipated IPL 2025 season to kick off, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) have received a massive boost.

Promising young batting all-rounder Nitish Reddy, who was out of action because of a side strain injury, has now been declared fit and will return to the team before the tournament.

Reddy, who was left out of India's Champions Trophy team because of his injury, has cleared the required Yo-Yo test with a high score of 18.1. This makes him now fit to play in the next IPL season.

The 21-year-old will join the SRH camp on March 16, where he will immediately start training with the team. With just a week before Sunrisers Hyderabad’s first match, Reddy will need to get back into the match rhythm quickly.

Brydon Carse Ruled Out For SRH In IPL 2025, Replacement Unveiled

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) have suffered a setback ahead of IPL 2025 as England pacer Brydon Carse has been ruled out of the tournament due to a foot injury. But the franchise has soon found a replacement, recruiting South African all-rounder Wiaan Mulder to strengthen their side.

Carse, who was acquired by SRH for INR 1 crore in the IPL 2024 mega auction, sustained the injury during the ICC Champions Trophy while playing against Australia. In response to Carse’s injury, SRH has brought in Wiaan Mulder for INR 75 lakhs, marking his maiden IPL stint.
