India women have dealt a massive blow ahead of the semi-final clash against Australia as their star opener Pratika Rawal has been ruled out of the World Cup because of a knee injury. The right-handed batter suffered a blow to her knee during India's final group-stage match against Bangladesh.
Amid this difficult time, the fans and pundits took to social media platforms to show their support for Pratika Rawal. Even IPL franchises share special messages for the injured opener. Meanwhile, RCB too jumped onto the bandwagon, but have made a massive blunder as they mistook Jemimah Rodrigues to be Pratika Rawal.
RCB posts Jemimah's photo instead of Rawal
In a now-deleted post, RCB were heavily trolled for wishing Pratika Rawal all the best, but posting the image of Jemimah Rodrigues. The fans quickly pointed out the mistake, which forced the franchise to delete the post and rectify their error.
"Injury Replacement Alert! Shafali Pratika comes in for Pratika Rawal, a driving force in our road to the semis, will unfortunately miss the rest of the World Cup due to injury! Heal up soon, champ. Here's wishing for a block buster cameo from Shafali Verma," wrote RCB while posting photo of Pratika Rawal.
