Pratika Rawal rises to career-best; Mandhana extends her stay at top in latest ICC rankings

On Tuesday, October 28, the ICC updated their weekly ranking charts. The International Cricket Council has rewarded the female cricketers who are doing well in the ongoing Women's World Cup 2025.

In the latest rankings, Mandhana extended her stay at the top of the ODI rankings and has now raised the bar with 828 rating points, which is her career-best. Smriti Mandhana is comfortable at the top with 828 points and maintains a massive lead with the 2nd placed star, who is Ashleigh Gardner with 731 points.

Rodrigues shines, Kaur dips in latest rankings

Talking about Ashleigh Gardner, the Australian batter climbed six spots to now rank 2nd on the list. Meanwhile, things are not going well for Harmanpreet Kaur as the India skipper has dropped three more spots to now rank 18th on the list, just a place above Jemimah Rodrigues, who is now ranked 19th after climbing eight spots. 

In the all-round category, Ashleigh Gardner continues at the top, while Marizanne Kapp has climbed to the 2nd spot. Also, for Indian cricketers, Deepti Sharma, who is the Women in Blue's top-rated all-rounder, has now dropped a spot to rank 5th on the table.

India bowlers rewarded ahead of semi-finals

In the bowler's section, Sophie Ecclestone continues to be the top-rated bowler. However, the left-arm spinner is now doubtful for the upcoming semi-final against South Africa because of her recent injury. Meanwhile, Alana King has jumped to 2nd spot after her brilliant seven-wicket haul in final group-stage game against South Africa.

For India, Deepti Sharma has dropped two points to now rank 5th on the table while seamers have been rewarded. Renuka Singh Thakur has jumped seven spots to be on the 19th place, while Kranti Gaud too has jumped seven places to break into top 30.
