The young West Indies player Shamar Joseph recently made a dream debut for the Caribbean camp during the Test series against Australia. Shamar’s incredible spell against Australia led him towards winning the ICC player of the month award for the month of January.

He is also set to play for LSG in IPL 2024 as a replacement to Mark Wood and things are just getting better and better for the young pacer.

Shamar Joseph surpassed the English top order batter, Ollie Pope’s 196 against India in the 1st Test and the Australian seamer Josh Hazlewood’s performance against West Indies in the Test series. His performances peaked in both the test matches of the West Indies tour of Australia.

Joseph kick-started his red ball career with a bang as he took a huge wicket in the first Test match against Australia. He sent back the Kangaroos’ former captain Steve Smith to the dugout who currently stands at the number two position on the ICC Test Batsmen Player Rankings on his very first delivery.
