The next cricketer who was questioned by ED was Shikhar Dhawan. The former star cricketer was summoned by the ED on September 4, 2025. He was questioned for about eight hours in the 1xBet betting app‑linked money laundering case.

The ED has questioned Dhawan’s role in promoting the app - through endorsements or advertisements and its financial ties. It is vital to note that his statement was recorded under the PMLA. Robin Uthappa
