India, who recently faced a crushing 10-wicket defeat to Australia, would look to bounce back stronger as their qualification for the WTC final has almost slipped out of their hands after South Africa leaped and took their No.2 spot. A dejected Indian side will return to the field once again as India are slated to cross swords with Australia in the third Test at The Gabba in Brisbane from 14 December onwards.
But before the big challenge comes their way, Team India were seen practicing hard and sweating it out in the nets including Virat Kohli, who was seen bowling during the training session. In the video, Kohli is seen taking a long run-up while attempting to knock over the stumps.
Right-arm quick, Kohli was last seen bowling at the 2023 ODI World Cup against Netherlands, where he successfully picked up the wicket of Scott Edwards. Ever since then, fans have created a popular chant 'Kohli ko bowling do', urging India captain Rohit Sharma to give Virat Kohli a chance with the ball.

While there is no official statement suggesting that Kohli would be bowling in the upcoming third Test. Hence, it is very likely a warm-up as the right-handed star, who slammed a century in Perth, was also seen focusing on his batting in the nets.
Determined Kohli Practices Hard
Before this practice session, Virat Kohli was seen immediately returning to practice after India's Pink-Ball Test loss. The 36-year-old batter struggled in Adelaide scoring just 7 and 11 runs in the two innings.Despite the poor outing, his dedication stood out, as he faced fast bowlers in practice soon after the match ended.
