Irfan Pathan has once again taken a hilarious dig at Pakistan fans following their team’s humiliating seven-wicket defeat to India at the 2023 World Cup in Ahmedabad. The cricketer-turned-commentator, who often refers the ‘Men in Green’ devotees as his beloved ‘Padosis’ (neighbors), once again resorted to his usual remarks at the expense of India’s arch-rivals.

At a time when the visitors’ batting order had crumbled like a pack of cards against India upfront, Pathan took to X (formerly Twitter) and poked fun at Pakistan cricket fans for their team’s dismal performance.

Irfan Pathan mocks Pakistan fans for batting collapse

For the past few months, former Indian all-rounder Irfan Pathan has been poking fun at Pakistan fans with a series of hilarious posts on X. Notably, in almost all his troll posts on the microblogging site, the cricketer-turned-commentator mockingly describes Pakistan’s cricketing enthusiasts as his dear ‘Padosis’.

Following the same trend, Pathan once again took to his account after Pakistan’s dismal batting performance at the majestic Narendra Modi Stadium. He wrote:

“Padosiyo mein Khamoshi Ka maahol hai…” (Our neighbors are unusually silent today)

His latest post was a subtle dig at those Pakistan fans, who had made bold predictions about their team’s positive outcome against India at the 2023 World Cup.

In the meantime, Team India catapulted themselves to the top of the World Cup 2023 points table, having registered their third win from as many fixtures. They will now go against Bangladesh in Pune on October 19.

Pakistan, on the other hand, slipped to number four on the 10-team standings and will now face Australia on October 20 in Bengaluru.
