India’s high-profile World Cup 2023 clash against arch-rivals Pakistan was attended by a constellation of stars and ardent cricket fans at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Among the 100,000 attendees at the iconic venue, the grand cricketing stage was also graced by the wives of Indian captain Rohit Sharma and fellow senior member Virat Kohli.
Rohit’s wife Ritika Sajdeh was spotted sitting next to Bollywood actress and Kohli’s significant other Anushka Sharma, and the two applauded the Indian captain after he reached his half-century during the high-octane run-chase in the evening.

Indian captain and opening batsman Rohit Sharma took first guard at the crease alongside comeback man and junior partner Shubman Gill. Chasing 192, the two unleashed a barrage of boundaries over Pakistan’s new-ball attack before Gill became India’s first casualty of the run-chase.
Sharma, on the other end, kept the juggernaut rolling and went on to blast his second successive fifty-plus score of the 2023 World Cup. Mere days after smearing 131 against Afghanistan, the cricketer belted Pakistan’s high-flying bowlers across all corners of the Narendra Modi Stadium through his scintillating six-laden knock.
As one can expect, Rohit received a thunderous applause from a capacity crowd after he completed his half-century. His wife Ritika Sajdeh and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma also stood up and applauded the sparkling opener for his run-chase efforts.
