Indian paceman Jasprit Bumrah engineered an emphatic 106-run win for his country against the visiting England team at Vizag to bring the five-match Test series to levelling terms. With a nine-day gap between the conclusion of the second Test and the commencement of the subsequent Rajkot affair, Bumrah as well as the rest of his Indian teammates are currently enjoying some much-needed breather from the game.

The speedster seems to be utilising his break by spending some quality time with Sanjana Ganesan, as evidenced from a picture he recently shared of himself alongside his wife on social media.

Bumrah reunites with wife Sanjana amidst ENG Tests

On February 9, Jasprit Bumrah took to his social media accounts to share his reunion with wife and sports presenter, Sanjana Ganesan. The senior Indian cricketer left a heartfelt caption alongside his post that reads:

“Happiness is here ❤️”

Jasprit Bumrah shattered England’s confidence at Vizag in India’s must-win second Test of the five-match series last week. The seasoned warhorse claimed six English wickets in the first innings, and another three on the decisive day to headline India’s emphatic series-levelling victory.

For his Test haul of 9-91, the 30-year-old was adjudged the ‘Player of the Match’. Remarkably, Bumrah also completed 150 wickets in the format, thus becoming one of the fastest Indian bowlers to do so in terms of matches played.

In the latest ICC rankings for Test bowlers, the speed demon rose to the number one spot by displacing Kagiso Rabada, Pat Cummins and teammate Ravichandran Ashwin in the process. In doing so, he became one of only selected few cricketers to attain number one rankings across all three forms of the game.

Jasprit Bumrah is now expected to reprise his role for Team India in their forthcoming third Test match against England. However, as per some reports, he might also be rested from the line-up as part of his workload management. With series tied at 1-1, the much-awaited contest will be staged between February 15 and February 19 at Rajkot’s Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium.
