Jadeja Receives Special Honour From Dravid For Getting Selected In ICC Test Team Of The Year

Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja was honored by Indian head coach Rahul Dravid after being selected for the ICC Test Team of the Year 2023. Ravichandran Ashwin was the other Indian player to be picked in the team of the year.
Indian players are currently gearing up for the T20 World Cup, set to take place in the USA and West Indies. They traveled in different batches, with Virat Kohli yet to reach the USA for the tournament.
In the World Cup camp, Indian coach Rahul Dravid honored Ravindra Jadeja with a special cap for being selected in the Team of the Year. Dravid, one of the greatest in red-ball cricket, gifting Jadeja this special honor was a beautiful moment to witness.
Rohit, Kohli not included in the ICC Test team of the year
Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli failed to make it to the final list of ICC. It is Pat Cummins who is the captain of the ICC team. But Ashwin and Jadeja, the trusted Indian spinners, secured their spots in the list.
Jadeja had a remarkable 2023 in Test cricket. He showcased his skills with a brilliant performance at Nagpur against Australia, where he secured a 5-wicket haul and also contributed with a half-century in the same game.
In the next match, he displayed his dominance by claiming 10 wickets, including a stunning 7-wicket haul in the second innings. Throughout the remaining series, he continued his impressive form, adding 5 more wickets to his tally and guiding India to the ICC Test Championship final.
Despite a valiant effort in the final, where he grabbed 4 crucial wickets and scored 48 runs, India lost against Australia.
