In a significant development, Isle of Man have recorded the lowest-ever team total in Men's T20s.

On Sunday, Isle of Man were bundled out for a paltry ten-run total to achieve this undesirable feat, bettering Sydney Thunder's 15, which they scored against Adelaide Strikers in the Big Bash League 2022-23.

Lowest-ever totals in Men's T20s

  • 10 by Isle of Man vs Spain, 2023
  • 15 by Sydney Thunder vs Adelaide Strikers, 2022
  • 21 by Turkey vs Czech Republic, 2019
  • 26 by Lesotho vs Uganda, 2021
  • 28 by Turkey vs Luxembourg, 2019

Regarding the game, hosts Spain elected to bowl first after winning the toss. The Spanish spearhead Mohammad Kamran lived up to his skipper's expectations, dismissing Adam McAuley in the very first delivery of the innings.

Although the visitors tried to show some resistance, their batters fell one after the other against the rampant Spanish bowling unit.

Isle of Man were so miserable with the bat that seven of their batters couldn't open their account, with the highest individual score being only four runs by Joseph Burrows.

As a result, they were bowled out for only 10, which Spain chased without losing a wicket in the first two deliveries. Spain's left-arm seamer Atif Mohammad, who scalped four wickets for just six runs, was declared the man of the match.
