In recent news, Indian wicketkeeper-batter Ishan Kishan was given an emotional send-off by his family as he departed for Australia, set to join the India A squad for the upcoming tour. The 26-year-old, recently named in a 15-member squad led by Ruturaj Gaikwad, was showered with love, blessings, and encouragement from his family in a heartfelt farewell moment captured in a video circulating widely on social media.

In the video, Kishan’s mother can be seen warmly embracing her son before he leaves for the airport. She has been a steadfast supporter of Kishan's cricketing journey from a young age, cheering him on from local matches in Jharkhand to national and international stages. 


Ishan Kishan's Remarkable Comeback 

Ishan Kishan was removed from the BCCI’s central contract list for taking a prolonged break during the 2023 South Africa tour and missing the final round of the 2023–24 Ranji Trophy despite BCCI directives. 

He has since staged an impressive comeback after returning to the field with renewed focus and determination during the IPL 2024 season. He participated in the Buchi Babu Tournament, was selected for India C in the Duleep Trophy, and represented the Rest of India against Mumbai in the prestigious Irani Cup title match. 

Kishan's recent performances have been remarkable, with a notable century scored for Jharkhand in the Ranji Trophy season. The Australia tour will include two unofficial Tests, beginning October 31, to be played in Mackay and Melbourne. These matches will be followed by an intra-squad game between the India A team and the Indian senior team, which is currently preparing for the highly anticipated Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
