Chennai Super Kings have had a commendable journey in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) so far under the new captain Ruturaj Gaikwad. The team has won matches out of eleven fixtures and is currently placed in the third position in the points table.

But one thing that is not working in favour of the 'Yellow Army' is that the camp has been facing a string of injuries this season. In the early stage of the tournament, they had lost injured Devon Conway followed by Deepak Chahar, Matheesha Pathirana and Mustafizur Rahman ruled out of the IPL 2024 due to injury at the second stage of the tournament .

In a significant development, MS Dhoni faced an injury sometime during the ongoing IPL but the legendary cricketer is determined to continue playing and not take a break.

The reason for the injury is yet not known, but doctors have advised Dhoni to take rest. The former CSK captain is not convinced to take a break from the IPL, instead, he is consuming his medicines to ensure to keep himself available for the rest of the tournament.

MS Dhoni Want To Continue His Play Instead Of Facing Injury

According to the reports of the Times of India, the former CSK captain has faced this injury during this ongoing IPL season but the legend remains adamant and determined to play through pain.

MS Dhoni has been the talk of the town since the start of the IPL, the legend has been in some remarkable form but has been coming to bat down the order. In the recent match against CSK, Dhoni came in to bat at No.9.

This move was highly criticised by the former Indian cricketers. Irfan Pathan stated that MS DHoni's batting down the order is not helping CSK in any way. While Harbhajan Singh suggested that CSK might as well play an extra batter.

The real picture was not known to anyone regarding the injury that the legend was going through. The former CSK captain has scored 110 runs in 11 matches with a strike-rate of 224.49.
