Irish batter, Gaby Lewis etched her name in history books as she joined an elusive list of 11 women's players with multiple hundreds in T20I format.

She achieved the feat during Ireland's remarkable victory against favourites Sri Lanka in Dublin on Tuesday. Lewis slammed a stunning 119 from just 75 deliveries as Ireland posted 173/3 in their allotted 20 overs.

In reply, Sri Lanka fell short of the target, despite half-centuries from Harshitha Samarwickrama and Kavisha Dilhari. It was Lewis' second T20I ton, with the first one coming against Germany in the 2021 ICC World Cup European Qualifiers.

She has now joined an elusive list of female cricketers, who have now scored more than one century in T20Is. Sri Lankan skipper, Chamari Athapaththu and Fatuma Kibasu of Tanzania have scored three centuries each in the game's shortest format.

Lewis joins, West Indies duo Hayley Matthews, Deandra Dottin, Australian stars, Meg Lanning and Beth Mooney, England cricketer Danielle Wyatt, Uganda's Prosscovia Alako, Romania's Rebeccca Blake and UAE's Esha Oza as the players with two centuries.

Irish star's knock ensured that it was her nation's first win over Sri Lanka in women's cricket, as the T20I series levels at 1-1, with the ODIs now set to follow on Friday.
