Rajasthan Royals (RR)'s Riyan Parag has made a significant impact with a stellar performance against Delhi Capitals. Following his impressive knock, Riyan Parag became more active on his social media platforms. Recently, he made a post on X expressing his admiration for Virat Kohli. 

Parag, a long-time fan of Kohli, expressed his anticipation for a century from the RCB former captain. Interestingly, this post coincided with the commencement of the match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Kolkata Knight Riders.

The post was captioned: “All i need rn is a VK 💯” 

Although, despite playing whole 20 overs, Kohli could only score a valuable 83* off 59 balls, which came a two-paced track as the KKR pacers troubled the home team with their variations with the older ball.

How has Virat Kohli performed in the ongoing season? 

The right-handed batter has been in exceptional form throughout the tournament, except for the first game against Chennai Super Kings. Despite a dropped catch by Jonny Bairstow off the first ball, he capitalized on the opportunity and made a mockery of the Punjab Kings' bowling attack, scoring a match-winning knock of 77 runs. 

In the third game, the prolific batter scored another half-century of the season, once again staking his claim to the Orange Cap for the highest run-scorer in the tournament.

Batting first, RCB have managed to score 182 for 3 in 20 overs. However, KKR openers have come out with an ultra-aggressive approach, slamming 52 runs in the first four overs of the chase.
