IPL 2023 Final | Rain Stops At Ahmedabad; Covers Come off as GT-CSK Players Start Training

The IPL 2023 final between CSK and GT is expected to be a blockbuster contest but sadly, the rain gods have not been too kind so far. The rain has played spoilsport but the good news is that it has stopped now and the covers have come off in the biggest cricket stadium in the world - the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad.

The groundstaff have started their work and Super soppers are doing their job as well. The drainage system is pretty good though and we shall have the toss and start of the game soon if the rain does not make its entry again.

Alas! It has started to rain again! This is very frustrating from both players and fans point of view and let's hope that rain stops playing this hide and seek and cricket takes the centrestage soon.

So, a full 20-over game is unlikely to happen now and we will have a curtailed 2023 IPL final if the rain does stop quickly or else the game might go to the Reserve Day.
