BCCI Likely To Reject Sri Lanka’s Proposal For August White-Ball Series

The BCCI is expected to decline Sri Lanka Cricket’s offer to host a white-ball series in August, following the postponement of India’s Bangladesh tour. The latter was suspended due to rising political tensions between the two countries. This new decision could delay the ODI return of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli until October's Australia series. With no series in August, India’s next white-ball outing will be the Asia Cup 2025 in September. 

Asia Cup 2025 In Jeopardy As BCCI Threatens Boycott 

The Indian cricket body, the BCCI, has reportedly informed the ACC and PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi that it will not attend the key July 24 meeting in Dhaka to discuss the Asia Cup 2025. Citing political tensions with Bangladesh, India has requested a change in venue, joined by Sri Lanka, Oman, and Afghanistan. With the ACC yet to respond and only days left before the meeting, the tournament’s future remains uncertain. 

India Star Likely To Skip WCL Match Vs Pakistan Over Pahalgam Attack 

A leading Indian cricketer has reportedly withdrawn from the India Legends vs Pakistan Legends match in the World Championship of Legends (WCL) 2025, set for July 20 at Edgbaston. The move is believed to be a protest against the recent terror attack in Pahalgam. Reports suggest 2–3 more players may follow. The Legends squad features stars like Yuvraj Singh, Irfan Pathan, and Harbhajan Singh, who have voiced outrage over the attack on social media.

Injury Blow For India Ahead Of 4th Test vs England
