Gautam Gambhir Files FIR After Receiving Threatening Email

On April 22, Tuesday, India head coach Gautam Gambhir received two emails, both containing the same message, "IKillU". Following the scary incident, the cricketer-turned-coach approached the Delhi Police on Wednesday, demanding swift action from the authorities.

As reported by ANI, Gambhir was concerned about the safety of his family, so he formally filed an FIR to the SHO Rajinder Nagar Police Station and the DCP Central Delhi.

The report states that Kashmir-based militant group ISIS Kashmir is the mastermind behind this heinous act. Considering it's a matter of huge concern for the famed cricketer and his family, thorough investigation and prompt action are expected from the Delhi Police regarding his safety.

Gautam Gambhir Condemns Pahalgam Terror Attack

Earlier, Indian head coach and former opening batter Gautam Gambhir had condemned the cowardly terror attack at Kashmir's Pahalgam, which shook the entire nation.

The barbaric attack in Pahalgam resulted in 26 casualties after a group of armed terrorists opened fire on tourists in the Baisaran meadow, making it one of the most brutal terror strikes since the 2019 Pulwama attack.

Gambhir, who has always stood for righteousness, condemned the attack and prayed for the families of the deceased. He also urged the Indian Government to respond strongly to the heinous act.

"Praying for the families of the deceased. Those responsible for this will pay. India will strike," Gambhir wrote on his official handle on social media platform X (formerly Twitter).
