The ICC U19 Men’s Cricket World Cup 2026 schedule has been officially revealed, with the tournament slated for January 15 to February 6, 2026. The tournament is set to be hosted by the West Indies and Zimbabwe across venues like Harare, Bulawayo, and Windhoek.
16 teams participating in the event will see them divided into groups of four, with each team playing three matches each before reaching the Super Six stage.
Tournament to be wrapped up within 23 days
The mega ICC event, which was last played two years ago, saw Australia lift the silverware against India in the final, and the marquee teams are yet again ready to battle against each other.
Tanzania has been a new addition to the tournament, with the team debuting this year. Notably, Japan, which featured in the 2020 edition, makes its return after qualifying for this year as USA U19 also have made a mark with their recent dominant run.
The 23-day-long tournament will see the teams face each other to reach the semi-finals and ultimately play the final on February 6 at Harare Sports Club in Harare.
For the unaware, reserve days are available for the two semi-finals and final if rain washes out games or any other natural or unnatural calamity takes place.
