Prior to their do-or-die World Cup fixture with England, Pakistan's two most vital players, Haris Rauf and Shadab Khan, suffered serious injury scares.

What will happen? Will both of them be fit enough to participate in the ultimate game for their semi-final qualification? Let’s take a look at their latest injury reports, as filed by Geo.tv.

In the match at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on November 4, Rauf sustained a rib sprain during New Zealand's innings. Following prompt magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans of the right arm, the report verified there is no injury to be concerned about.

"Pakistan pacer Haris Rauf — who faced an injury scare due to a sprain in his ribs — got clear scans on Monday, ruling out chances of the seamer missing any World Cup matches," the Geo.tv report read.

During their tough defeat to South Africa, Shadab Khan hit his head on the ground and landed awkwardly on his shoulder, forcing him to be substituted by Usama Mir. Nonetheless, the all-around player made a full recovery and is expected to be back in action against England.

"...All-rounder Shadab Khan has also recovered well from the concussion he suffered during a match with South Africa last month," the report further added.

Pakistan's all-important World Cup match against England will take place at Eden Gardens, Kolkata on November 11 from 2:00 PM IST.
