Mumbai Indians skipper and India’s vice-captain, Hardik Pandya, is reportedly vacationing overseas amid a challenging period. 

After Mumbai Indians became the first team to be eliminated from IPL 2024, Pandya's personal life also came under scrutiny, with rumors circulating about his divorce from Natasa Stankovic. Reports suggest that Pandya left the country after Mumbai's disappointing IPL campaign.

Following the tough IPL season, Pandya is expected to join the Indian team directly in New York for the upcoming T20 World Cup where he will serve as Rohit Sharma's deputy. 

While the exact date of Pandya's arrival in New York remains unknown, it has been confirmed that he will be present in time for India's first practice game.

Notably, Pandya was not among the players, who boarded the Saturday flight to New York alongside captain Rohit and other Indian players and coaching staff for the T20 World Cup. 

However, arrangements are being made for the all-rounder's timely arrival amid India's preparations for the tournament.

Meanwhile, other Indian players, including Sanju Samson, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Yuzvendra Chahal, and Avesh Khan from Rajasthan Royals, as well as Rinku Singh from Kolkata Knight Riders, who participated in recent IPL matches, will depart for New York to join the Indian squad soon.
