Explosive middle-order batter Glenn Maxwell has backed Australia's T20I skipper Aaron Finch to find his mojo back in the upcoming T20I series against India.

Maxwell, who has represented Australia in 87 T20Is, believes that the dashing opener adds value to the side as a captain as well, even while not being amongst the runs.

"He'll certainly enjoy having these game in India, he enjoys batting there,"

"Obviously it wasn't the easiest time for him in one-day cricket but his attitude has never changed. He was brilliant with the strategy side of thing. Don't discount his value as captain."

Finch and Co. are gearing up for a short tour of India for a 3-match T20I series starting September 20.  The matches will take place across three cities — Mohali, Nagpur and Hyderabad.
