The ongoing IPL 2025 season witnessed one of the most memorable matches last night, as Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) chased down a massive total against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) to secure a place in the qualifier 1. Batting first, LSG set a daunting target of 228 runs, which RCB chased, riding on Jitesh Sharma's match-winning knock.

It was an eventful evening at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow, as batters from both sides ran riot and shattered multiple records. Here's a list of all cricketing records that were made in the RCB vs LSG high-scoring nail-biter.

All Records Made And Broken In LSG vs RCB Match

1. Most 600-plus seasons, fifty-plus scores and fifties in winning cause in an edition for Virat Kohli

Talismanic Indian batter Virat Kohli starred with the bat for RCB, slamming a flamboyant fifty at the top order. Thus, he went past David Warner, registering the most fifty-plus scores (63) in the IPL.

He also became the batter with the most 600-plus seasons (5), overtaking KL Rahul, who has breached the 600-run mark four times. This was Kohli's eighth fifty in IPL 2025, with all of them coming in a winning cause. Thus, he became the batter with the most match-winning fifty-plus scores in a single edition.

2. RCB's most successful run-chase and stellar away record

228 is RCB's highest-ever run-chase and the third most successful run-chase in the history of IPL. RCB's victory over LSG also helped them script history, as they registered their seventh away win, becoming the first team to remain unbeaten in away group-stage matches in the IPL.

3. Rishabh Pant records highest individual score at Ekana Stadium

LSG skipper Rishabh Pant stormed his way through to a belligerent 61-ball 118* with the help of eleven boundaries and eight sixes.

This was the first-ever century at the Ekana Stadium, as Pant recorded the highest individual IPL score by a batter at the venue.

4. Virat Kohli becomes 1st batter to score 9000 T20 runs for a single team

In another major achievement, Virat Kohli attained new heights in RCB colours, becoming the first batter to enter the 9000-run club for a single franchise. Rohit Sharma claims the second position on the list, having struck 6030 runs for Mumbai Indians.

5. Jitesh Sharma slams 3rd highest score batting at number 6 or lower

Jitesh Sharma's unbeaten 85*-run knock is the third-highest individual score while batting at number six or lower in IPL.

Hardik Pandya claims the top spot with a 91-run innings against KKR, while Andre Russell is placed second with a blistering 88*, which he struck against CSK back in 2018.
