FIR Against Virat Kohli's One8 Commune Bengaluru Manager After Violating 'This' Law

Indian cricketer, Virat Kohli's popular multi-city pub, One8 Commune has come under fire as Bengaluru police has lodged an FIR against the manager of the restaurant for violating the time-deadline.

As per the law, any restaurant operating beyond the permissible time limit i.e. 1 AM, will be penalised. The report filed by Bengaluru police highlighted that Kohli's restaurant was open and serving customers at 1:20 AM, beyond the authorized hours.

“The One8 Commune pub at Kasturbha Road was found operating and serving customers at 1:20 am, beyond closing time on July 6th,” the FIR registered at the Cubbon Park Police Station in Bengaluru reads.

According to News18, during the night patrolling duty, the sub-inspector, received information about the One8 Commune pub operating late at night. When the sub-inspector reached the pub at 1:20 am, he found it serving the customers. Based on this, an FIR was registered.

Moreover, sources have also revealed that action was taken against three other pubs, too the same night.

Kohli's restaurant is located in Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Kolkata & Pune, and now the popular F&B co-owned by King Kohli will be extending its chain in Hyderabad too.

On a side note, Virat Kohli is currently in London spending quality time with his family after winning the T20 World Cup 2024 at Barbados. It was expected that he would feature in India's tour of Sri Lanka however fresh reports suggest that he will be rested for the series.
