The Wimbledon fever is on, and cricketers across nations are making sure to mark their appearance at the oldest Grand Slam in Tennis history. In the last 13 days, several renowned figures have graced the centre court, which featured the likes of Virat Kohli, Sachin Tendulkar, and Joe Root.

Wimbledon, all of a sudden, has become the Cannes for cricketers, where players are turning up in big numbers to see big Tennis stars lock horns against each other. Meanwhile, there were also reports that former India skipper MS Dhoni also made a special visit to the grass court this year.

Did MS Dhoni make a Visit To Wimbledon?

Recently, a selfie of MS Dhoni alongside his friends went viral on the internet, which led to the belief that the CSK star made a special visit to Wimbledon. However, to keep the records straight, Captain Cool did not attend a game of Wimbledon this year, and the selfie that is doing the rounds on the internet is not recent.

The image is from July 7, 2022, when Thala had travelled to London for a game of Tennis on his 41st birthday. He watched Rafael Nadal live in action and also rooted for India's Sania Mirza. Thus, a three-year-old photo is being resurfaced on the internet, relabelled as a recent visit.

MS Dhoni And Fondness For Carlos Alcaraz

MS Dhoni's last visit to a Grandslam was in August 2023 when he travelled to the USA to watch the US Open, when Carlos Alcaraz took on Alexander Zverev.

MS Dhoni appears to be an Alcaraz fan as the youngster also is doing well in his professional career as he eyes his 6th Grandslam when he locks horn against Jannick Sinner in Wimbledon final on Sunday, July 13, which is also likely to draw attention from several cricketers in the royal box at the Centre court.
