Sunrisers Hyderabad have announced Pat Cummins as the new face of the team after a series of disappointing performances in the last few years of the Indian Premier League. 

Aiden Markram, who led the Orange Army during the last season, has been sacked despite winning two consecutive titles for the franchise in the SA20 League. The decision had an upsetting effect on the cricketing fraternity and the audience showed that they felt bad for Aiden Markram.  

In the history of the Indian Premier League, SRH have managed to win just one title, which came in the year 2016 under the captaincy of David Warner. Since their maiden IPL title, Hyderabad have not been playing their best cricket and are finishing at the bottom in the points table. 

Now that the trophy man of the year, Pat Cummins has been appointed as the captain, the Sunrisers will be hoping to turn their fortunes in the upcoming season of the IPL. 

The Aussie seamer was bought for a whopping sum of 20.50, and little did everyone know that he might become the captain but the netizens are feeling bad for Markram.
