Mumbai Indians owner and renowned billionaire businessman Mukesh Ambani has extended heartfelt condolences to the lives lost in a tragic plane crash in Ahmedabad. Ambani promised to offer all sorts of help required on the ground to help the families of the deceased.

On June 12, an Air India aircraft, carrying 242 people on board, crashed moments after takeoff in Ahmedabad. Upon contact with a medical hostel building, the airplane caught fire, leading to mass devastation.

Except for a sole miraculous survivor, all 241 passengers and crew on board lost their lives. Additionally, several students present at the hostel during the time of the crash also lost their innocent lives.

Mukesh Ambani, MI Extend Condolences To Crash Victims

The horrific tragedy has left the nation in deep distress. Mumbai Indians owner and renowned businessman Mukesh Ambani also expressed sorrow and pain over the incident.

In an official statement released by Reliance, Ambani pledged to assist the relief operations on the ground at the crash site. He also prayed for the families affected to gain strength and cope with the unimaginable loss.

“Nita and I, along with the entire Reliance family, are deeply pained and anguished by the grave loss of life caused by the tragic plane crash in Ahmedabad. We extend our sincere and heartfelt condolences to all those affected by this tragic incident. In this hour of grief, Reliance extends its full and unwavering support to the ongoing relief efforts and stands ready to assist in every possible way. We pray that all those impacted find the strength and solace to cope with their unimaginable loss.”

Apart from the Mumbai Indians, several cricketers, including Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, also expressed sorrow over the tragic crash.

As of June 13, Air India confirmed 241 onboard casualties. However, according to news agency PTI, the death toll rose to 265, which includes intern doctors from the hostel who succumbed to injuries.
