The Abu Dhabi T10 League 2024 season came to an exhilarating conclusion in Abu Dhabi. In Sharjah and Dubai, the 2024 Under-19 Asia Cup 2024 yielded two exciting Group A results for India and Pakistan.

India U19 secure big win over Japan
India Under-19 injected life back into their tottering Asia Cup 2024 campaign in the UAE to compensate for their opening defeat to arch-rivals Pakistan. Batting first against Japan, India carted 339-6 from 50 overs courtesy of an unbeaten 122* from captain Mohamed Amaan. Opener Ayush Mhatre and KP Karthikeya also hauled swift half-centuries before bowlers Chetan Sharma (2-14), Hardik Raj (2-9) and KP Karthikeya (2-21) restricted Japan to just 128-8 as the ‘Boys in Blue’ secured a huge 211-run win in Sharjah.
Bangladesh announce squad for West Indies ODIs
The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) unveiled a 15-member squad for the Bangladesh men’s cricket team for their upcoming three-match ODI series against the West Indies. All-rounder Mehidy Hasan Miraz is set to lead Bangladesh in the absence of regular skipper and injury-prone Najmul Hossain Shanto. The three matches will be played between December 8 and December 12 at the Warner Park in St Kitts. Here is a look at Bangladesh’s entire squad for the ODI series:

Gautam Gambhir flies back to AUS for Adelaide Test
Indian head coach Gautam Gambhir is set to make his return back to Australia in time for the upcoming second Border-Gavaskar Trophy Test match at the Adelaide Oval. Back in late-November, the former Indian cricketer flew back to India for an ‘unavoidable personal emergency’. The second Test between India and hosts Australia is scheduled to commence from December 6 onwards.
PAK youngsters smack match-winning tons vs UAE
Shahzaib Khan and Muhammad Riazullah smacked majestic centuries as Pakistan Under-19 mounted 314-3 from 50 overs against UAE. Opening the innings with Usman Khan, young Shahzaib smeared 132 runs with 11 boundaries and six sixes while number three batter Riazullah unleashed 106 off just 91 balls in match number seven of the 2024 Under-19 Asia Cup at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
Later in the UAE run-chase, Pakistan fast bowler Abdul Subhan picked up six wickets at an expense of just 57 runs from 10 overs as the ‘Boys in Green’ secured an emphatic 69-run win to retain their top spot on the Group A points table.
Deccan Gladiators clinch Abu Dhabi T10 2024
Deccan Gladiators ravaged Morrisville Samp Army in the final to clinch the Abu Dhabi T10 League 2024 season. Winning the toss and opting to field first, Maheesh Theekshana (1-20), Richard Gleeson (2-16) and Anrich Nortje (1-14) restricted the Samp Army to just 104-7 from 10 overs.
In pursuit of 105, Gladiators opener Tom Kohler-Cadmore clattered a whirlwind 56* from 21 balls with five boundaries and four sixes to storm his team to an eight-wicket victory in the seventh over. Captain Nicholas Pooran also unleashed 28 off 10 balls while senior man Jos Buttler notched up the winning runs during his five-ball 12*. The outcome marked Gladiators third Abu Dhabi T10 title victory, and their first since the 2022 edition of the tournament.
