Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain Ruturaj Gaikwad delivered a witty remark that had the crowd in splits during a fan-engagement event in Bengaluru today (December 20, 2024). The event, which was organised to interact with fans, took an unexpected turn when a microphone malfunction left the CSK skipper temporarily inaudible.

As Gaikwad appeared to struggle with the faulty mic, the member of the anchor cheekily inquired how the organisers could let such a mishap happen. "How can you turn off Ruturaj's mic?”, the anchor said jokingly to the sound engineer.
Ruturaj Gaikwad, never one to shy away quickly turned the moment into an opportunity for a humorous response. With a humorous turn he replied “Might be someone from RCB”. His response left the crowd at the event erupted in laughter.

The rivalry between CSK and RCB has been one of the most talked-about topic in IPL 2024.
