India's two-time World Cup winner and head coach, Gautam Gambhir has congratulated Wrestler Aman Sehrawat, who won the bronze medal after defeating Puerto Rico's Darian Cruz in the Paris Olympics 2024 on Friday.

With this astonishing feat the 21-year-old grappler became India's youngest ever Olympic medallist and took the total count of medals to five bronze medals and one silver.

Gambhir took to his social media and wrote," First Olympic medal at just 21! Superb performance #AmanSehrawat"

Interestingly, before him, the celebrated P V Sindhu held the title of India's youngest Olympic podium finisher after she claimed a silver in the 2016 Games at 21 years, one month and 14 days.

Talking about Gambhir and his stint with the Men In Blue, under his guidance, the Suryakumar Yadav-led Team India whitewashed Sri Lanka in the T20I series. However, they were short of luck when it came to the ODI leg of the tournament.

Despite the return of two of India's big guns, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, India failed to live up to their standards as they lost the series by a 0-2 margin.
