Matthew Hurst, the Manchester Originals' top performer, known for his back-to-back impactful knocks and raging form, unexpectedly fell short against the London Spirits. He walked back to the pavilion after scoring just two runs.

Despite his recent disappointment, the 20-year-old batter has shown promise, amassing 132 runs from four games, two of which were fifty-plus scores. His disappointment was palpable as he crawled away from the crease, a stark contrast to his usual form.
