Ravindra Jadeja is set to receive a significant tribute by the Chepauk crowd on March 26 during CSK’s home IPL 2024 match against Gujarat Titans.

As confirmed by CSK fan army across all social media platforms, the dashing all-rounder will be commemorated for his IPL 2023 heroics against the same opponents, where his blistering cameo in the title clash handed the ‘Yellow Brigade’ their fifth IPL title on March 29 last year.


Fans to tribute Ravindra Jadeja during CSK vs GT

Ravindra Jadeja bludgeoned 15* off six balls, including 10 off the final two deliveries against Gujarat Titans in the final of the IPL 2023 season at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium. His run-chase masterclass handed CSK a five-wicket victory and their fifth IPL title, thus bringing them on levelling terms with Mumbai Indians to become IPL’s joint-most successful franchise.

Ravindra Jadeja, who was retained by the CSK management for IPL 2024, is set to receive a significant tribute from fans at Chepauk Stadium during their second home game of the season on March 26.

The team, led by Ruturaj Gaikwad, is lined up to face Gujarat Titans in match number seven of the competition.

As per CSK fans social media platforms, the entire Chepauk crowd will stand up to cheer for Jadeja at the eighth minute of the match for his contributions to team’s IPL 2023 triumph. Notably, number 8 is Jadeja's jersey number.

Ravindra Jadeja also starred in CSK’s six-wicket win over RCB in the opening match of the IPL 2024 season last week on March 22. The cricketer punched out a tense 25* in the run-chase to take his team past RCB’s 173 with two overs to spare in Chennai.
