The Super Fours stage of the Asia Cup 2023 began on September 10 for the Indian cricket team, as they faced Pakistan at Colombo's R Premadasa Stadium. Regrettably, due to continuous rain, only 24.1 overs of the game were played on the scheduled day, leading to the match being rescheduled for the reserve day.

However, things still look a little too bleak for the match to take place at the moment due to the rain playing spoilsport.

Colombo Weather Report For September 12

Despite the uncertainty surrounding the completion of the Pakistan vs. India match, the Indian team is set to play their second Super 4s match against co-hosts Sri Lanka at the same venue on September 12.

As for the expected weather conditions for this Asia Cup Super Fours clash, it is predicted to remain cloudy with occasional rain and thunderstorms throughout the day, according to AccuWeather.com.

The weather forecast indicates an 84% chance of precipitation with 95% cloud cover during the day, although the likelihood of rain may decrease to 55%. However, cloud cover will persist throughout the day.

Regarding India's performance in the Asia Cup 2023, their first match against Pakistan in Kandy had to be abandoned due to rain. Unfortunately, the weather has not been favourable for them, with rain affecting their Group stage game against Nepal and their Super 4s fixture against Pakistan, which had to be rescheduled to the Reserve Day.

All Indian fans all over the world can only pray that this weather doesn't persist and that the Indian contingent gets to play the match against Sri Lanka.
