Afridi Reaches Out To BCB
With the situation worsening, Shahid Afridi has turned to the Bangladesh Cricket Board for help. As per reports, there has been no communication from Chittagong Kings’ side related to his due payment. The former Pakistan captain has reportedly written to BCB President Farooq Ahmed, seeking a resolution to the ongoing issue.
The report says the Bangladesh Premier League is yet to respond in this matter. It's just not Shahid Afridi; several domestic and international players faced a similar issue. Even bus drivers have raised complaints.
The Indo-Canadian presenter, Yesha Sagar, also left the tournament halfway due to a related issue with the Chittagong Kings. Those kinds of unfortunate incidents are a massive setback for Bangladesh cricket.
