After Carse has been ruled out, The England Cricket Board has announced a formidable replacement. Young English bowler Rehan Ahmed is all set to replace the bowler in the squad. The Event Technical Committee of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 has approved the replacement.

In his short ODI career, Rehan Ahmed played six ODI matches and secured 10 scalps with an impressive economy rate of 4.95. The leg-spinner recorded his best performance of 4/54 against Ireland back in 2023 in the 50-over format. He is likely to join the squad later this wicket.

England Is Eyeing A Killer Comeback

England’s Champions Trophy started on a disappointing note after facing a 5-wicket defeat against England in their inaugural match.
