The WPL 2025 season will be played across four different venues, namely the Kotambi Stadium in Vadodara, the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, the Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow and the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai.
The Kotambi Stadium will be hosting the opening leg of the tournament before the action will shift to Bengaluru for the second week. Lucknow will host the subsequent four league fixtures, while Mumbai will host the final four matches of the competition, including the Eliminator and the Final on March 13 and March 15, respectively.
Here is a look at the entire WPL 2025 schedule as revealed by the BCCI on January 16:
The RCB franchise, led by Smriti Mandhana, will enter the competition as defending champions, having lifted the 2024 title by defeating Delhi Capitals in the final.
The auction of the WPL 2025 season took place back in mid-December, when 19 players were distributed among all five competing franchises. Simran Shaikh and legendary West Indies all-rounder Deandra Dottin turned out to be the most expensive purchases made at the bidding event, with both players finding a place in the Gujarat Giants line-up.
