According to a report from Cricbuzz, the Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) has been informed by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) that changing the ODI World Cup schedule at this late stage is not feasible. The HCA has agreed to adhere to the program, which calls for the city's Uppal Stadium to host consecutive games on October 9 and 10.

The HCA administration thought that the scheduling of Hyderabad's World Cup games on October 9 and 10 was less than ideal given the security measures in place.

The Netherlands and New Zealand are scheduled to play in Hyderabad on October 9, with Pakistan and Sri Lanka to play the following day. Both matches are day/night affairs.

Here's what HCA Official told Cricbuzz regarding the World Cup schedule:

"We have engaged in discussions with the BCCI, and they have indicated that changing the schedule is not feasible at this point. Therefore, we have concurred to collaborate. We comprehend that BCCI's vice-president, Mr Rajeev Shukla, has already issued a statement. We have been informed that making a last-minute alteration is challenging, and we are striving to make arrangements for the orderly execution of the matches. We have conferred with the city's police commissioner, and he has reassured us of full assistance," Durga Prasad was quoted as saying by Cricbuzz.

The ODI World Cup matches will take place in as many as twelve cities throughout the country, with the opening match and final being held in Ahmedabad on October 5 and November 19, respectively.
