On Tuesday, 13th of August, BCCI has announced some minor changes in India's home season with a tweak in the schedule of India men's series with Bangladesh and England. The first T20I between India and Bangladesh has been moved out of Dharamsala and has been handed to Gwalior due to renovation work in the dressing room of the iconic HPCA stadium.

It has provided an opportunity for Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association to host their first international game at the brand new stadium in Gwalior - Shrimant Madhavrao Scindia Cricket Stadium.

Kolkata Police Makes Special Request

Along with the change in the Bangladesh series, the first and second T20Is of the series against England have been swapped between Kolkata and Chennai. Eden Gardens that was supposed to host the second T20I, will now host the opening game of the series because of a special request from Kolkata Police to Bengal Cricket Association.

The Kolkata police raised concerns regarding their ability to provide security with Republic day around the corner, and it has prompted BCCI to make the change.

There is no change in the schedule of the series against New Zealand which will start on October 16 and will include three Test matches.
