Gujarat Titans (GT) head coach Ashish Nehra is reportedly on the verge of parting ways with the franchise ahead of the IPL 2025 season.

According to recent reports, the team's owners, CVC Capital, are contemplating a significant overhaul of the coaching staff, with Nehra's future in doubt.

Nehra to leave Gujarat Titans?

Ashish Nehra's tenure with the Titans has been marked by impressive achievements, but the winds of change seem to be blowing through the franchise.

The current coaching setup, which also includes Vikram Solanki as the Director of Cricket and Gary Kirsten as a mentor and batting coach as the Director of Cricket and Gary Kirsten as a mentor and batting coach, could undergo a complete transformation. There are speculations that Yuvraj Singh might step in to replace Nehra as the head coach.

Adding to the uncertainty is the possibility of a change in ownership, with rumours circulating about a potential takeover by Torrent Pharma or the Adani Group. However, due to the mandatory three-year lock-in period for franchise shares, any ownership change is unlikely before February 2025.

This means the current management will remain in place for at least one more season, including the critical player auction in December 2024.
