Air Hostess Who Filmed MS Dhoni In His Sleep Apologises For Invading Privacy

The air hostess, who filmed MS Dhoni in his sleep during a flight has issued an apology over invading the cricketer’s privacy.

Earlier, a short video featuring Dhoni and his wife Sakshi went viral across social media, where the former Indian captain can be seen taking a nap in a relaxed state by the window of a flight. Meanwhile, his wife was busy in her own activities in the adjoining seat. Unbeknownst to them, they were recorded by an air hostess as part of her adorable fan moment with the cricketing legend.

Air hostess Karishma apologises amidst fans backlash

After the video surfaced online, many fans of the cricketer criticised the air hostess, who goes by the username Karishma_6e, for invading the couple’s privacy in the middle of a flight. However, she did find some support from a section of fans, who believed she was simply awestruck and had a fan moment with the Indian legend.

Amidst backlash from a certain segment, Karishma has now issued an apology through her Instagram account. In the post, she expressed her regret over recording MS Dhoni and his wife Sakshi, and even asked for forgiveness from the couple as well as from the strong fanbase of the cricketer.

She wrote:

“To MS Dhoni and all his fans, I want to apologise to MSD and his wife for my actions, as I recorded a video of him sleeping on his journey, I was not having any intention of declining any privacy of MSD and his wife, but as an Indian and all the emotions and respect for him through the years I was not able to resist myself to have a fan moment with him.”


“I was unaware that this could be a disaster. I am receiving so much hate from everywhere and messages and I’m so scared for that, I hope you all understand that we all do mistakes and I did, and I’m sorry for that and here I’m apologising to MSD and his wife and every MS Dhoni fans there. I hope you all will understand the child in me who love MSD so much… Thala forever.”
