Pakistan Men's team batting coach Mohammad Yousuf stated that the team's ultimate aim is to win the Asia Cup and not solely focus on the match against India.

The Men in Green will kickstart their Asia Cup campaign on Sunday (August 28) with the much-anticipated encounter against India in the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

Addressing the media, following Pakistan's practice session at the ICC Academy, the ex-Pakistan batter was asked for his comments on Sunday’s high-octane clash between the arch-rivals India and Pakistan, Yousuf replied that the focus of his team is not just on a particular match but on the overall tournament.

“We have to win this Asia Cup. All (players) are focused, disciplined and looking towards the whole tournament and not just the match against India. No doubt the encounter against India is big but we need to keep our focus on winning the tournament and not on a single game,"
