Barbados Royals Women will go head-to-head against Trinbago Knight Riders Women in the fourth match of The 6ixty Women 2022 at Warner Park in St. Kitts on Friday, August 26.

After winning their opening fixture by a comprehensive margin, Barbados Royals Women got the momentum going their way but that buzzed out  following a five-wicket defeat against Guyana Amazon Warriors in their second match. With two points in their kitty, they are currently placed second in the points table. 

Trinbago Knight Riders Women, on the other hand, are yet to taste success in the tournament. Having lost both of their opening fixtures, the Knight Riders are currently languishing at the bottom of the league table. 

In the reverse fixture, Barbados Royals Women had trounced Trinbago Knight Riders Women by 28 runs. Heading into their third game, the Anisa Mohammed-led side will be keen to open their winning account in the tournament. 

Key Players 

  • Chloe-Lesleigh Tryon: In their previous face-off against the Knight Riders, Tryon went bonkers with the bat and amassed 63 runs off just 29 deliveries. She is currently leading the batting chart with 87 runs in two innings. 
  • Kycia Knight: She played a breezy cameo of 12-ball 21 against Barbados Women in the opening match. Currently, she is the highest run-scorer for Trinbago Knight Riders, having garnered 43 runs in two innings.
  • Hayley Jensen: The New Zealander played a startling knock of unbeaten 22 off 12 in the first match against Barbados Women. Though she couldn't do much in the next game, we expect her to come out all guns blazing in this fixture.
  • Hayley Kristen Matthews: The Caribbean all-rounder hasn't been very impressive in the opening two matches, having scored just 22 runs in two matches and picking two wickets. However, given her power-hitting abilities, we can back her to come good in this clash.
