Ahead of the marquee event, the broadcaster is offering exclusive advertising slots for the event, looking to bounce back from an underwhelming Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023.

According to the rate card available with exchange4media, co-presenters will be charged Rs 118 crore, while associate sponsors are expected to shell out Rs 88 crore. Co-presenting opportunities on Disney+Hotstar are priced at a hefty Rs 150 crore. For "Powered by" sponsorship slots and associate sponsorships, the costs are Rs 75 crore and Rs 40 crore, respectively.
However, the much-anticipated India vs Pakistan contest has led to a spike in advertising rates, touching a whopping Rs 30 lakh for each 10-second slot. The heated rivalry and enormous expected viewership for this showdown have provided Disney Star the chance to levy premium rates.
TV marketers looking to co-present on the SD channel will need to earmark Rs 89.86 crore, while the superior HD feed comes with a Rs 48.4 crore price tag. Owing to challenging market conditions, Disney Star has escalated advertising rates by 30–35% compared to the previous tournament.
Insiders hint at the broadcaster's aim to generate almost Rs 1,000 crore from the tournament. For context, last season's slot auction prices ranged between Rs. 6 and Rs. 7 lakh for every 10 seconds, while the current rate stands at Rs 10.25 lakh for the same duration.
With the cricket World Cup approaching rapidly, marketers and sponsors are eagerly planning their strategies, particularly for the India vs Pakistan match which just further amplifies the importance of the clash between the arch-rivals.
