Virat Kohli's Fan following in India continues to reach extraordinary heights and this was seen ahead of the second Test match between India and Bangladesh. Ahead of this match at Green Park Stadium, Kanpur, a viral video has surfaced showcasing the devotion of one of his youngest fan.

The video features a 15-year-old boy named Kartikeya, who pedalled 58 kilometres from his hometown of Unnao, Uttar Pradesh, just to catch a glimpse of his cricketing hero, Virat Kohli.

For Kartikeya, Virat Kohli is not just a cricketer but a 'god-like' figure. The young Fan embarked on his journey at 4 AM, riding what appeared to be an old bicycle, determined to reach the stadium before the team arrived.

Despite his parents' potential concerns, he said they gave him their blessing once he revealed his reason for the trip: "I said I'm going to watch Kohli, so they said okay, go," Kartikeya shared in the viral video.

However, it is important to mention that the start of the second Test faced a minor hiccup. The toss was delayed by 30 minutes due to a wet outfield. Despite the delay, Indian captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and opted to bowl first, taking advantage of the conditions.

India entered this match with a fresh victory in the first Test at Chennai, defeating Bangladesh by 280 runs.

The win gave India a 1-0 lead in the two-match series and strengthened their position at the top of the World Test Championship (WTC) standings for the 2023-2025 cycle.

Virat Kohli's Poor Performance In Chennai

Virat Kohli's performance in the recent Test match at Chennai has been a cause for concern, as he only managed to score six runs in the first innings and 17 runs in the second innings. With India's long Test season ahead, including the New Zealand tour and the Border Gavaskar Trophy, Kohli will be looking to regain his form and make a strong comeback.
